Re: BEx and WEBI Variables

Thank you Fernando.  I think I can limit my BEx variables to 2 distinct variables.

I am still struggling with bringing the report into WEBI using the BEx variables.  The report runs fine in BEx but when consumed in WEBI the variables behave differently.  In WEBI they are expecting a different format than when in BEx and they only allow what is in the infoprovider.  For example:  In my BEx query I have 2 variables where I enter 12/2014 in both and the query runs without errors.  There is no value of 12/2014 in the infoprovider  for var2 but the query still runs fine.  In my WEBI report var1 is expecting a format of DEC 2014 and var2 is not allowing 12/2014 I believe because this value is not in the infoprovider.

Any guidance on this would be appreciated as I am struggling here!

Thanks,

Roseanne
