Hey Amrita, which component are you using for your list? FPM_LIST_UIBB or FPM_LIST_UIBB_ATS?
If you're not using _ATS then my suggestion would be to do so. It's a newer version and offers some additional features.
Anyway, that aside, my suggestion would be to check the "Selection Mode" for the list.
I've assumed you're not using _ATS and that's the option shown below. It's in the same area for the _ATS list but has fewer options.
