Thanks for the reply. when I run FTP_SERVER_TO_R3 for reading pdf file from ftp server, i get some data in table parameter 'blob' and the line type of this table is 'X' ( hexadecimal). So do you mean we cannot comvert this to OTF? Also we don't need to print the smartform. The final pdf ( content from the smartform + content from file from ftp server ) will be sent as attachment in an email.
